刘庄于2016年9月加入香港中文大学（深圳）经管学院，为法学和经济学助理教授。他在北京大学获得法学学士和博士学位，在美国芝加哥大学获得法律科学博士学位，方向为法律经济学。
人物简介
他的学术兴趣在于使用实证方法研究各种法律和监管现象。
在从事学术研究前，刘庄曾在朝阳区团委工作。博士期间，他曾在芝加哥大学讲授中国法，在北京大学、上海财经大学讲授法律经济学和实证法律经济学课程。
