林伟，博士，男，研究员，博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金2012获得者。1968年生于黑龙江省齐齐哈尔市，1990年毕业于长春地质学院应用地球物理系，1996年于南京大学获硕士学位，2000年于奥尔良大学获博士学位。现任研究室副主任，中国地质学会构造地质学与地球动力学专业委员会第八届委员会副秘书长。

研究方向
研究领域：构造地质学：通过中小尺度的构造解析，了解造山带及其前陆的构造几何学、运动学及其动力学机制。
目前的研究兴趣：
1. 超高压变质岩的构造折返历程：
-同造山期伸展穹隆的研究（秦岭红安－大别山－苏鲁造山带，西南天山）；
-造山带的垮塌：中国东部白垩纪伸展构造的研究（辽东、辽西省、冀北）；
2. 造山带与盆地动力学：盆山耦合系统的构造解析（天山和塔里木盆地，大别山及其前陆）
3. 地球早期的构造演化剖析
4. 陆内造山带的构造剖析（以华南-华东地区为例）
