男，1962年11月出生，通辽市人，蒙古族，农学博士，蒙古国自然科学院外籍院士，吉林农业大学菌物研究所常务副所长，教授，博士生导师。兼任中国菌物学会常务理事、副秘书长，鲁东大学菌物科学与技术研究院院长，塔里木大学客座教授，吉林省食药用菌协会副会长，长春市政协委员，民盟吉林省委委员、农业与农村经济委员会主任，泰山学者，《菌物研究》编委。先后主持完成国家自然科学基金项目4项，国际合作项目3项。2001年被吉林省教育厅评为“吉林省中青年骨干教师”、获省科技进步二等奖。在核心刊物上发表论文50多篇，出版著作5部（合作）。主要从事北温带菌物分类学及生态学方面的研究，尤其在菌物多样性及其保育研究领域颇具特长。
现任民盟长春市第十四届委员会副主任委员。
人物履历
1990年毕业于东北师范大学生物系，获理学硕士学位。
1995年-1998年，图力古尔任吉林农业大学讲师。1998年9月，图力古尔晋升为副教授。
1998年获得农学博士学位。
1998-1999年由国家人事部派遣赴日本访问研究。
2000年破格晋升教授。
2009年于鲁东大学任菌物科学与技术研究院院长。
2016年11月，当选民盟长春市第十四届委员会副主任委员。
主要成果
图力古尔主要从事菌物多样性研究，他提出并完善了大型真菌为代表的菌物物种多样性编目，种群多样性及维持机制，群落与环境因素的相关性，濒危菌物的等级划分和濒危机理与解濒等有关菌物多样性及其保育理论体系。截至2024年7月11日，据吉林农业大学官网数据显示，图力古尔采集真菌标本1.5多万份，发现中国新记录真菌120多种，各省、区新记录300多种，命名2新属25个新种，为中国菌物多样性的研究和了解提供基础资料，部分种类已成功驯化，为食药用菌资源的开发利用提供依据。
