张红生，教授，博士生导师,中国水稻研究所兼职研究员。1978-1982年南京农业大学农学系农学专业本科毕业，获农学学士
人物经历
1982-1988年南京农业大学植保系植物病理系研究生毕业,1985年和1988年分别获农学硕士和博士学位；1991-1992年荷兰Wageningen农业大学植物育种系博士后；1998-2000年美国Cornell大学访问学者。
研究方向
二十多年来主要从事（1）水稻种质资源收集、鉴定、评价和利用；（2）水稻重要农艺性状的遗传机制与基因的分子定位；（3）水稻抗病虫和抗逆境基因的克隆与功能分析。
主要成就
先后承担国家863、国家自然科学基金、科技部转基因专项和高校博士点基金等课题20多项。发表研究论文60多篇，其中SCI收录10篇；获教育部科技进步一等奖一次，中国农科院科技进步二等奖一次。已培养博士研究生5名，硕士研究生8名，目前指导博士研究生14名，硕士研究生15名。
